The lemon tree is perfectly symbolic of LemonTree Mentoring. The tree represents the spirit, its branches, life; its leaves, people; and its fruit, the fruit of the spirit.

This new mentoring program for women is based on four levels: Prepare, Plant, Nurture, and Harvest, and is facilitated through and by churches

Though the lemon is colorful and fragrant, its flesh is tart and is rarely tasted alone; it is most often blended with other flavors to create delicious delights. And likewise our gifts of time and talent are blended for the benefit of our sisters— lovely in God’s presence, vibrant with Christ’s energy, and sweet-scented by Christian kindness.
